'Oh My Girl' won #1 on 'M! Countdown', Instead of NU'EST, Fans React

Mnet re-tallied the scores and admitted their fault, taking the win away from NU'EST and awarding it to Oh My Girl.

The video below is the members and fans reaction after finding out they won. It's too bad they didn't get to have an encore stage due to Mnet's mistake.

On the May 16 episode of Mnet's 'M Countdown', NU'EST barely edged out Oh My Girl to win #1 with a score of 7,668 for NU'EST and a score of 7,617 for Oh My Girl.

However, fans pointed out that Oh My Girl's social media score was miscalculated. The corrected chart shows Oh My Girl received 2,000 points in the social media category, adding up to a final score of 8,117.

The producers stated, "We have confirmed an error in the process of entering social media scores. We have recalculated the chart and the ranking for the third week of May has been corrected. The winner on May 16, 2019, (episode 619) is Oh My Girl."

'M Countdown' apologized, "We will be more cautious with chart calculations to prevent such incidents from occurring again."
