Song Joong Ki Will Leave Blossom Entertainment, 7 Years' Relationship Ends



Korean star actor Song Joong Ki will not renew his contract with his current agency  Blossom Entertainment after the contract expires at the end of 2019, according to an exclusive report from Sports Chosun on Dec. 17(KST).

an insider said, "Song Joong Ki will be wrapping up his 7 year contract with Blossom Entertainment and set out alone on his own new path."

Blossom Entertainment confirmed the report, "Song Joong Ki’s contract with us expires at the end of December. There are no plans for him to renew his contract with us."

There are also some reports saying Song Joong Ki would be joining Kakao M following the departure news. However, Kakao M denied the rumors, "The reports are not true. We have not tried to recruit Song Joong Ki."

Song debuted as a leading actor in the movie 'A Werewolf Boy' (2012) and KBS drama 'The Innocent Man' (2012) after debuting in the movie 'A Frozen Flower ' in 2008. He became one of the highest class members with the 'Descendants of the Sun' (2016), where he stared with his ex-wife Song Hye Kyo. Song and Song got married after their devotion on October 31, 2017, howver, two years later, they broke up in June this year.
