Kang Daniel Smashing Every One and Place No.1 in CHOEAEDOL July Rankings

Idol ranking service ‘CHOEAEDOL’ reported that on August 1 that Kang Daniel will be awarded as the 43rd Charity Fairy as he received the most daily votes during July.

He got 219,603,663 votes on July 25, on his solo-debut day, and proudly made to be the charity Fairy. This is a phenomenal record considering that no other Charity Fairy(male individual) since this January had the record over 200 million.

It is the 19th time for him to be the Charity Fairy and he had received Charity Angel award for 17 times until now. Since 500k KRW was donated every time they were awarded charity Angel or Charity Fairy, his totaling donation amount is now 18 million KRW(15,155USD). This makes Kang Daniel all-time No.1 in the ranking sorted by accumulated donation amount.

After his debut as the member of ‘Wanna One’, Kang Daniel not only kept the top spot in CHOEAEDOL donation history rankings, he had placed No.1 several times in ‘Brand Reputation Rankings for Individual Boy Group Members’ which is announced by Korean Business Research Institute.

Kang Daniel’s debut album ‘color on me’ has reportedly sold 404,896 copies, which is the record in South Korea for the most album sales in 24 hours by a solo artist.
